The Rhode Island Senate has voted in favour of legislation to allow mobile sports betting through the state’s two casinos.
The legislation introduced by Senate President Dominick Ruggerio in January would allow players within Rhode Island to place sports bets at the Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton via a mobile app, subject to in-person registration at one of the venues.
