Rhode Island’s two licensed casino operators collected a total of $10.1m in sports betting wagers during the month of August.
Total wagers were up 21 per cent compared to the previous month, with Twin River Casino contributing $7.7m to the total, an increase of 18 per cent month-on-month.
Wagers at Tiverton Casino also increased, climbing 33 per cent to $2.3m, according to results published by the Rhode Island Lottery.
