A potentially massive class action against PokerStars has been dismissed in Illinois although an amended complaint could yet be filed.
PokerStars was found to be a provider of software and hence, not involved in “winning” money from the claimant.
While the Court has allowed claimant Kelley Sonnenberg to file an amended complaint, this ruling should bring an end to the class action which claimed damages for those who have suffered losses through internet gambling and their relatives. [...]
