Former world snooker champion Stuart Bingham will begin a six month ban from the sport next week after being found guilty of breaching snooker’s betting regulations.

The suspension is effective October 28th and follows an investigation by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) into allegations that Bingham bet on snooker matches in contravention of the WPBSA Members Rules.
