Stockholm-listed betting and gaming operator LeoVegas has signed a two-season extension to its partnership with England's most successful rugby union side, Leicester Tigers.

This will see LeoVegas continue as the club's official betting partner until the end of the 2019-20 Aviva Premiership season, with the LeoVegas logo appearing on players' shorts and branding on pitchside advertising boards at the team's Welford Road stadium.

LeoVegas will also continue to sponsor the team's mobile app for fans, which launched in August 2017, as well as offering exclusive odds and special markets on the team's fixtures.

"With back-to-back European Championships to the club's name and more league title triumphs than any other team in the record books, we’re looking forward to supporting the club with their ambitions over the coming seasons. At LeoVegas, we're continually looking for new ways to ensure our customers have an enjoyable and rewarding experience."

Leicester Tigers commercial director Andrea Pinchen added: "To announce our deal extension with LeoVegas is a great positive for the club and demonstrates just how powerful a brand Tigers continues to be.

"LeoVegas is an exciting and innovative partner and their support with such products like the Tigers App are of real value to the club and indeed our supporters."

Shares in LeoVegas AB (STO:LEO) were trading up 1.33 per cent at SEK76.15 per share in Stockholm Thursday morning.
