This summer’s FIFA World Cup helped boost Tabcorp’s results for the first quarter of its 2015 financial year.
Ther Australian gaming operator reported revenue of AUD$537.4m for its financial first quarter ended September 30th, up 6.6 per cent from AUD$503.9m a year ago. The growth was largely driven by the operator’s wagering business which saw revenue climb 8 per cent to $415.9m, with the World Cup boosting fixed-odds revenue by $10.3m in the period.
