Social gaming giant Zynga has confirmed that the company’s chief operating officer John Schappert has resigned from his role with immediate effect.
In a statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday, Zynga said that Schappert had resigned from his positions as an officer and a director of the company.
