US authorities have arrested eight Florida residents for their involvement in a racketeering and money laundering enterprise which involved the operation of offshore sports betting websites in order to conduct illegal gambling and bookmaking across the state.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi charged eight Broward county men following a six month investigation conducted by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit in conjunction with the AG’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
