The Malta Gaming Authority has revealed that the country’s online and land-based gaming industries directly accounted for 12 per cent of the gross value added (GVA) contribution to the Maltese economy in the first half of 2016.
The regulator said that the industry continued to advance steadily during the first half of this year, recording a 31 per cent increase in employment across both the land-based and remote gaming sectors.
