Legislation to regulate daily fantasy sports (DFS) has made significant progress in New Jersey and Vermont, while Alabama's efforts failed to make it to a Senate vote.

New Jersey's A3532, introduced by Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo, Ralph Caputo and John Burzichelli, took a significant step towards becoming law after it was approved in a full Assembly vote Monday (May 22nd).
