Casino operator Las Vegas Sands (LVS) has agreed to pay a $6.96m criminal penalty to close a case that saw it investigated for violations of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
The investigation centred around the company's business transactions in the People's Republic of China and the autonomous region of Macau, where it operates a range of properties via its Sands China subsidiary.
