A first team regular for English Football League Championship club Newcastle United has been fined £25,000 after accepting a betting-related misconduct charge.
The fine was handed down by the English Football Association (FA) after midfielder Jack Colback admitted to breaching FA Rule E8 on one occasion.
This rule bans players from betting on the result, progress, conduct or any other aspect of a football match, either directly or indirectly.
