The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has confirmed that chief executive Nick Rust will step down at the end of the year after nearly six years in the role.
Rust took charge of racing’s governing body in January 2015, overseeing the creation of a new horse welfare board and changes to the way British horse racing is funded.
