US casino games supplier Konami Gaming has appointed long-serving executive Steve Sutherland as its new president and chief executive, as well as strengthening its executive team with four promotions.
Sutherland has worked for Konami since 2000, joining as senior vice president for sales before moving through a number of management positions.
He replaces Satoshi Sakamoto as the company's CEO, who moves to an executive director role at its parent company, Japanese entertainment conglomerate Konami Holdings Corporation.
