CG Technology agrees to pay $22.5m to settle US criminal investigation

Sportsbook operator and supplier CG Technology has agreed to pay a total of $22.5m in penalties and forfeiture to the US federal government to resolve an investigation into the company’s involvement in illegal gambling and money laundering schemes.

The company has entered into a non-prosecution agreement as part of the deal, which will see CG Technology continue to cooperate with federal prosecutors and reform its business and compliance functions.
