German sports betting operator Tipico has agreed a deal to become the official partner of the Danish national football team until the end of next year.

The agreement with the Danish Football Association (DBU) will see Tipico support the national team, the Under 21’s and the Danish Women’s Team.

The deal increases the operator’s presence in Denmark where it is licensed to offer its Tipico.dk online site to players. Tipico already has legendary Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel as one of its brand ambassadors.

The Tipico brand will be visible around matches of the national team as well as the Danish Under 21 and women’s team, while the company will also be involved with joint marketing and PR activities in Denmark.

Tipico is also a partner of German football clubs Hamburger SV, SV Werder Bremen, SC Freiburg, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, and RB Leipzig, as well as the Austrian Tipico Bundesliga.
