The government of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein is predicting an influx of online gaming licence applications following Thursday’s failed attempt by the opposition to derail the state’s EC approved online gaming legislation.
According to the Interior Ministry, only seven licence applications have been received thus far, six from sports betting operators and one from a casino operator. The ministry says however that it expects to receive many more applications in the coming weeks.
