New York professional poker player Anthony Spinella has become the inaugural winner of the WSOP.com Online Championship, the first ever online-offline event to take place during the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
The $1,000 buy-in event was competed Saturday and saw 905 entrants take part. That created a prize pool of $859,750, with Spinella taking home $197,743 as winner, as well as the famous WSOP gold bracelet.
