Prague-listed gaming operator Fortuna Entertainment has been barred by an Amsterdam court from putting its proposed acquisition of a number of Romanian gaming companies to a vote at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders scheduled for Wednesday.

The enterprise division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeals ruled Monday in favour of Franklin Templeton Investment Funds, a 10.5 per cent shareholder in Fortuna, which filed an injunction last week seeking to prevent the vote by shareholders.
