Las Vegas-based gaming and sportsbook technology provider Bet.Works has appointed MGM Resorts International’s Jay Rood as its new chief risk officer.
Rood has over 25 years of experience in sportsbook operations, having served as vice president of race and sports for leading US casino operator MGM Resorts since 1993, a role which has seen him oversee all of MGM’s sportsbooks including ten in Nevada, two in Mississippi and one in New Jersey.
