The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has posted record turnover for the 2016/17 racing season which ended Sunday, benefiting from increased overseas interest in Hong Kong racing.
Following its first decline in eight seasons last year, racing turnover increased by 11 per cent to HK$117.46bn (€13.1bn) for the 2016/17 season, which closed out Sunday with the Sha Tin Mile Trophy.
